XYLITOL
  • Xylitol is used as an alternative sweetener because of sweetness and contain low calorie content compared to sucrose.
  •  Based on “Turku Sugar Studies in 1972–1973 in Finland (Scheinin and Mäkinen, 1975”, suggested that xylitol has anti-cariogenic properties which is good compared to sucrose and helps to prevent dental caries.
